Commonly used terms in this blog and what they mean …

Buckhead :: Not to be confused with Buckies, Buckheads (rhymes with …) are those patrons of Starbucks who take longer than (“Give me a Venti Pike Place”) to place an order, order anything with ending in “cino” or “esso,” and/or costs more than a pack of cigarettes. Hey, if you are a Buckhead, don’t be offended, you’re only annoying if you are in *front* of me in line :-)

Buckie :: A fan of Starbucks coffee shops.

Clankers :: Anyone taking a bus that pays with money. While most of the time the currency of choice is in paper form, occasionally someone still pays with coins and there is no mistaking that clanking sound as they empty their baggies into the coin slot.

Phlegmers :: Someone who is sick, getting over being sick or on their way to being sick. Constantly clearing the phlegm from their throat, generally grossing out those around them. Could be a smoker.

Runners :: Those bus riders who are habitually late for their bus and have to run down to the stop yelling and waving their arms to make sure the operator sees them. Hey, everyone is late once in a while, but if you are flailing your arms at a bus more than once a week, your are a runner.
